Ray Gauthier
At the age of 12, Ray Gauthier created his own in-house radio station, playing music which he ingeniously recorded from the radio to cassette tapes. From the age of 12 to 16, Ray, totally committed to broadcasting, studied on air personalities and their technics, creating Strange Force re mix tapes from the current top 40s hits. In 1986 Ray had a dream and that vision was Ray Gauthier Productions, along with years of blood, sweat and tears that idea is now a reality.
In 1993 at the age of 24 Ray received his broadcasting degree at the Columbia Academy of Radio, Television and Recording Arts and started his radio career at CHWK in Chilliwack B.C. Canada. Working as a mobile DJ for several years, which consisted of playing for conventions, weddings, school dances, clubs, New Year’s parties, Ray for many years volunteered for local cable T.V. and radio stations. This further developed his audio and video production skills while at the same time offering a valuable service to the community.
In 2000 Ray started doing radio imaging and production work for AM, FM and online internet radio stations, by providing first-rate voice over work for thousands of clients. Today Ray continues to provide top-notch radio imaging and production work. This producer gives advice on how to create a podcast, writes brilliant funny radio ads plus so much more. This dedicated endeavor earned Ray a reputation in the radio industry that is second to none, because his character speaks for itself, "Quality Is Priority".
Ray currently co-hosts and co-produces the worldwide popular syndicated radio program, Back To The 80s, which is now on its second season. This exceptional 80s syndicated radio show continues to earn awe-inspiring rave reviews from the owners and listeners of countless radio and internet stations.
